Weight loss Metabolism Advantage. Do these work?
Hello, thanks for your time in reading this.
Ive started taking “Metabolism Advantage weight loss support” as I have hit a dead end. Minimal weight loss with maximum effort.
I eat well with very little rubbish & cardio/weight training at least 3 times a week (all sessions are a minimum of an hour)
I dont expect a miracle pill just something that helps. ![]()
Just wondering has anyone tried these tablets, Did they help? or are they a waste of time?

Three steps that have really helped me are dieting, exercising, and the correct weight loss supplement for losing weight. Focus on those three things and you will lose weight considerably. I exercise 30 mins a day along with taking Proactol, a natural weight loss supplement that I saved money on at theweightlossplace.com
Good luck and stay focused = )

How long after cardio excercise should you notice weight loss?
I have recently started trying to loose weight. I am doing cardio training normally 5 times a week. I do cycling because I dislocated my shoulder and it’s all I can do really. I do 2 minutes hard peddling at a high level and then 1 minute peddling but on level 0. I normally do 45-60 mins a day 5 days a week. during these 45-60 minutes I may have 1 break to stretch and catch my breath. I’ve been doing this for probably just over 2 weeks and am wondering when or if I will start noticing changes either in body shape and or weight loss.

Weight loss without cardio?
I recently injured my calf muscle and cannot partake in any cardio exercise such as cycling, running or eliptical walking. Does anyone know if it is possible to achieve weight loss without cardio or high intensity interval training and what is the best method for it? Is there any upper body cardio activities or exercises which would not put strain on the calf muscle? I can still lift weights and do stationary exercises such as squats and lunges. Any help is apprecitated.

Why not try out swimming or aerobic water exercise?
These are good when you’ve injured your calf muscles because they’re gentle on you and the force of gravity is taken care of the water, hence not much jarring and tearing on your muscles.
Have a look at how water aerobic can help you out in your present condition: http://www.perfect-body-toning.com/aerobic-water-exercise.html

Weight training to loose fat percentage?
I found out just two weeks ago that I am 36.3% fat! I am only 13lbs over the IDEAL weight for my height and age and it is all around my hip! And it is not the hipbone! lol
I have 10weeks to loose the extra lbs. I am exercising every day with 3 consecutive days of 20 minutes cardio and intensive weight training exercises for lower body, upper body and back and one day of cardio and stretches then repeat the same exercises. I have done it for two weeks but I have only lost less than half a pound! And my fat index has gone up by 0.3%!
My life is pretty much sedentary as I am working from home sitting in front of my pc almost all day long. Still, I am working out everyday! My diet is very healthy and I have cut hugely on my oil consumption, which I think is responsible for the fat hanging around my hip!
Now I am having second thoughts if this is the right exercise for me. Even though I don’t want to see the extra lbs on the scale, I am more worried about my fat index. Any advice?
also, does weight loss mean losing only the fat or it could also include loosing important muscles as well?

These are all very good questions. You are definately on the right track. Opne thing to remember is that as you progress through your weight training, you will gain muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat does. If you are being taped to figure our your fat index instead of pinched( you should know what i mean) then it is not accurate at all, and you need to go somewhere else to get your numbers. Also remember that your body(male or female) may retain water which will really thow a lot of your numbers off. I would stick with it for a little while longer while at the same time reviewing your diet to ensure that it fits your needs while on thisw workout plan. Outside of seeking true professional help that is the best i can giver over an open forum

I hit a brick wall in terms of losing weight. Any ideas to continue my weight loss?
I’m 35 years old and I lost about 30 pounds in 4 months. I go to the gym about 5 times a week where I alternate cardio and weight training. This worked for me until I hit the wall. At 215 lbs, my goal is 200. I’ve been hovering around 215 for the last month and a half. I eat a banana in the morning after a bowl of cereal, around 10 I snack on fruit. For lunch I have a sandwich(no mayo) with fruit. I have a snack of more fruit around 3 and then I workout for about 1 and a half hours. When I get home I have 1 serving of a modest dinner. I use to run about 3 or 4 miles but my knees started to give me problems.

This is normal for everyone trying to lose weight. It happened to me and yes I know it’s very frustrating. If ur counting how many calories ur eating and writing them down, try adding a calorie or 2 to what u have, this may help. It’s really hard to get past a plateau and have one thing work for everyone since everyone loses weight at different rates and one thing that works for me may not work for you and the other way around. Drinking more water may help too. Try drinking a glass of water b4 u eat a meal or snack. It will help u feel fuller faster since the water will help u eat less food(fills up your stomach some). Ur on the right track and doing everything right by what I can see from your question. If everything fails, try talking to your doctor or a dietician to see what they reccomend. Good luck with your weight loss, I know it is tough. A plateau is just your bodys way of “catching up” to the weight that u have lost.
