What workouts are best for chest development?
I have dumbells and barbells, workbench etc. I was to focus mainly on my upper body, chest are etc. What workouts are best for that area?
Free weight bench press is probably the most effective, choose a weight amount that is not too heavy, do 3 sets, 8-12 reps each…but I don’t advise limiting your workout to just chest/upper body, get a good run/brisk walk for 30 min, to get the heart pumping, then development a balanced routine…there’s a lot of ways to bench press by the way (inclined, flat, declined) you might want to raid a local used book store and find some diagramed positions to get maximum efficiency from a 1-1/2 to 2 hour workout. Also, find a good protein powder for starters (40mg is good)
