Eat healthy and exercise!
It’s healthiest to aim to lose 1-2 pounds of fat a week. 1pound of fat is worth 3500 calories…Soo…if you burn 500 calories through exercise everyday, you can lose a pound of fat a week without changing your diet at all! If you cut back your calories by 500 everyday, then you can lose an additional pound every week. Don’t cut your calories too low or your metabolism will shut down. Make sure you eat at least 1200 calories a day.
It’s best to eat plenty of fruits and vegetables. Drink lots of water and avoid food/drinks that are high in sugar. Also make sure most of your carbs are coming from whole grains, rather than white flour…whole grains are high in fiber and protein and they’re good for your heart!

I know this sounds crazy but I absolutely swear by it…from experience. OK…I prefer girls with a little meat on the bone…unfortunately, girls are not so fond of it.
Three girls I have been with have wanted to lose some weight. All three followed the same diet that sheds pounds like crazy. Cut out the bread (or any grains). All of it…and all the sugar you can. Fruit being the exception, but limit it until after the first month. Oh…and you can have all the veggies you want. Any potatoes after the first month, including fries…lightly in the beginning.
That’s it. Eat all the meat, chicken, butter, eggs, fish (baked), cheese, etc. NONE of the girls believed me…until they were at wits end. Even my mom finally listened after she went diabetic. She lost 87 pounds and no longer needs to check her blood sugar.
I did this myself and had to start eating more sugar and bread after my clothes started falling off…so I have personal experience.
My girl right now just put on her High School jeans…and spazzed out. Bad for meat on the bones…but she feels worlds happier and sexier.
The true beauty of this…results WITHOUT crazy exercise. Not that exercise is bad…but they all had desk jobs. This $#@%& flat-out works…and quickly. You will see results within the month. This BS about losing 2-4 pounds a month is garbage. It is written by people who have skinny genetics going for them…which is probably not you.
My girl lost 8-10 pounds in the first 2 weeks. I have never judged weight by pounds…but by how clothes fit. And you should do the same. This diet burns fat because it stokes the engine…at least my guess.
If you give it a month and it doesn’t work…I’ll eat my shorts and video tape it and put it on YouTube. And fast food is NOT out of the question (if you’re busy). Wendy’s Caesar dressing has ZERO sugar. Add a baked potato with sour cream…or burger without the bun. Plus, almost all fast food restaurants will give you a burger without the bun.
What do you have to lose by trying it for a month. By the way, it will actually LOWER your blood pressure and cholesterol.
Like I said, I’ll eat my shorts if this doesn’t work. But you have to post some before and after pics if I’m right (and I don’t mean without clothes…if you think that’s where I’m heading).

I have pcos as well. You may want to ask your doc about metformin in case you’re having issues with insulin resistance.
About the only way to lose weight with pcos, I have found, is to go low carb and exercise. Just walking daily is good enough.

I am 26 and had my second child 3 months ago. I am 5’7″ and weigh 220#. I am disgusted with myself as I have been for the last 2 years. I want to lose weight but yet I cannot make myself do it. I know it is not going to come off on its own and I’m going to have to work to get it off, but I just cannot seem to get the motivation to stick to anything. What things did you change to lose weight?
I want to get it of but an easy way. Is there any easy ways to lose weight that you have found? I do not drink pop only water and occasionally sweet tea. What did you do to shed the pounds? And I’d love to hear any tips. Thank you!

The easiest changes you can make are changing your diet like eating whole wheat breads, cereals and pastas. Cutting out fatty, greasy meats like bacon. When cooking use spray oil or if you can avoid using oil all together, great! Like having a hard boiled egg instead of a fried one. Drink skim milk.
Cutting your meal portions. Take half of what everyone else is eating and load on the vegs to fill up the rest.
No bad snacks! Like chips, crackers, cookies, cupcakes, ect… If it says saturated or trans fat, don’t even look at it!
And try to get at lest 20-30 minutes of exercise. That can really be anything, like vacuuming the stairs or walking around the block a few times.
These are really simple life style changes that will not only help you lose weight but make you an over all healthier person.
