is it more common for pregnant women to lose or gain weight after birth?
I gave birth 10 1/2 months ago. While breastfeeding the first 3 months, I got back to my pre-pregnancy weight. After I stopped, I put on 20 lbs. I admit that I don’t exercise because I don’t have time. My boyfriend works at night so I’m home alone with my son after I’m done with work at 4:30 pm. My eating habits are horrible. I tend to cook packaged foods and/or fast foods because I don’t have time.
Your weight gain seems to be due to unhealthy eating habit and lack of exercise more than post-pregnancy. Sometimes it could be the stress and irregular sleep pattern from having a new baby.
